​Upper Dublin High School Theatre Department

Speech and Debate
Students develop speaking and debate skills throughout the year. They write and deliver at least two major speeches per marking period. 



​Musical Theatre
Students develop a song book that includes: a character song, duet, ballad and uptempo song, and 16 bar audition piece. Students will also learn about the musical theatre canon and research specific groundbreaking productions. There will be a culminating showcase in the spring. 



​Theatre I
Students develop improv and pantomime skills, perform monologues and scenes, and work toward building a culminating showcase performance in the spring. 



​Theatre II
Students continue to develop their improv and pantomime skills, while exploring classic and contemporary plays. There will be a culminating showcase in the spring.
